Concert Ensembles Prospective students who are interested in joining one of the UGA Bands’ five concert ensembles must first be admitted to the university. Personnel for the UGA Wind Ensemble, the UGA Wind Symphony, and the UGA Symphonic Band (all of which meet in both Fall and Spring Semesters) are determined through audition at the beginning of each semester. In addition, all university students regardless of major who are proficient on a wind or percussion instrument are welcome to register for and participate in Concert Band or University Band.
